Kruger's American Bar

This year´s New Year´s Eve, we didn´t only have a big celebration at our own premises, but also co-organized a spectacular at the Casino Baumgarten.

The brand Asbach invited to celebrate “The Crusta Celebration / The Roaring 20ies”, and ladies, gents and gangsters followed the invitation. Kruger´s bar and its interiors dating back to the 20ies had the perfect surroundings for the party. The third THE BIG SPEAKEASY on June 2, presented itself with even more Burlesque, more Show and more Performers… a great night with a lot of dancing on and off the stage. Wonderful als always!! Next event: October 13, 2012.

Together with our precious special cigar trader Ercan Hazar, the Kruger´s Bar invited a circle of 40 selected guests to spend a night at Kruger´s and indulge themselves with fine fingerfood, wonderful Zacapa rum (up to X.O.) and two fantastic cigars – a torpedo by La Libertad and a 1888 Villiger Robusto. After a fantastic first Prohibition party, another The Big Speakeasy night took place on Saturday March 24. Organzier Antonia Gruber presented a beautiful styling corner by the makeup studio Karin van Vliet. Welcome to the underground Saturday, October 29 the Kruger´s American Bar crew abducted its guests into the old times of gansters and “flappers” with the start of the event series “The big speakeasy”. In times of prohibition people celebrated secretly as if there was tomorrow. Kruger´s did likewise.

On the 12th of may 2011 the Krugerstrasse association invited into the Kruger`s american bar to reveal it´s concern for art, cuisine and culture on an evening of cabaret. Maresa Hörbiger, her usual pleasant and chearful self, contributed to that.

The viennese agency Belly and Brain invited to the belly and champagne evening. Several guests followed the invitation

Partying like in the 1920′s and 1930′s the Kruger’s bar celebrated it’s ten year anniversary on the first of october. But the Krugerstrasse 5 itself can look back on a much longer tradition – already in the 1920′s it inhabitated one of viennas first cocktail bars called  the Kaiser bar.
